R.I.P. Chester Bennington

Chester Bennington, the lead vocalist of rock band Linkin Park, has died in an apparent suicide. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Bennington hanged himself at a Palos Verdes Estates residence in Los Angeles County. Bennington’s body was found Thursday morning. Shortly after the initial report, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed Bennington’s death in a statement to the Associated Press. He was 41.

  1. Chris’s death reminds me of the one of Freddy Mercury’s.

    He was a legend..one that couldn’t be duplicated and music that had crossover appeal. My brother got every album Linkin Park had made and was listening to it the other night. These days, finding good music is like finding a needle in a haystack. i was just telling my mom that after Chris’s death..that would be the end of Linkin Park..similarly to what I told one of my friends about the demise of Queen when Freddy died.

    RIP to Chris , his family and to the music world.
