R.I.P. George Michael

What the hell, 2016!?

From the BBC:

Singer George Michael has died aged 53, his publicist has said.

The star, who launched his career with Wham! in the 1980s and later continued his success as a solo performer, is said to have “passed away peacefully at home”.

Thames Valley Police said South Central Ambulance Service attended a property in Goring in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT.

Police say they were treating the death as unexplained but there were no suspicious circumstances.

In a statement, the star’s publicist said: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period.

“The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage.”

  1. Man..I share everybody else’s sentiments about 2016.What was supposed to be Obama’s joyous last term and people having a great New Year is turning out to be anything but..

So many people have died this year and when Kerry Fisher had that heart attack,I thought that she too like George Michael, was going to be a goner. Though she’s not out of the woods,I’m glad that she’s in stable condition.

George Michael’s death.. like Michael Jackson ,Muhammad Ali and Prince..I didn’t expect for him to die so soon. I loved his music and thought that he was pretty hot in the day.

The saying goes that things happens in threes. Idk, I think that more than three deaths have took place. I wouldn’t be surprised if another great icon dies before December 31 is up.

    Far as George,RIP.

      1. Oh no..I just seen a death notice about Ricky Harris.Carrie Fisher just passed this morning ( I spoke too soon) and then George.

My god. With all of this death taking place whose next? Man this is eerie and crazy.
