R.I.P. Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali, the magnificent heavyweight champion whose fast fists and irrepressible personality transcended sports and captivated the world, has died according to a statement released by his family. He was 74.

He had been hospitalized this week in Phoenix and was receiving treatment for a respiratory issue, a family spokesperson said Thursday.

  1. Stunned and sad is how I feel right now.

    Like Muhammad Ali said ..he was the greatest for sure. I loved him not only was he a one of kind great boxer ( at one point ,he made me like the sport) but I loved his stance on civil rights issues. I also loved that picture that him and Malcolm X took. It was so profound.

    Richard Sherman said that he talked brash because he admired sport greats who did. You have to admit,sports were a lot more interesting to see when you has those kinds of outgoing personalities speak.Now they can’t do it.Everybody has to sound the same..boring.

    Anyways..the world will miss him.I know Iam.
