The holidays are amongst us. That means gifts, excess food and decorations for your lawn and house. The black spending power is set to reach 1 TRILLION dollars annually. Yet, we are jobless and uneducated and flailing in the wind. If I may make an honest observation about most black people, myself included:
Looking good and having material objects is more important than going to school, having entrepreneurship, having property to pass on to our kids and building up our communities.
We have the financial means to liberate us from the oppresion we are under. But since we are not a unified community we will continue to be slaves to consummerism. Yes some of us will continue to be jobless and uneducated as the thread states. And flailing in the wind. It’s unfortunate so blacks will continue in ignorance and darkness.
I hate to admit it, but it’s true.
